A few months back, Royal Enfield had ceased the sales of Scram 440, while it had to take care of a few mechanical issues that were affecting the bike’s Engine. A new update has now revealed that the issue has been resolved and the Scram 440 is back on sale. The Scram has been a perfect bike for anyone who seeks the true off-road adventure but does not want to spend a fortune to avail the Himalayan.
As per a detailed report on the issues that were troubling the sales of Royal Enfield, it has been revealed that a component called the Woodruff key within the magneto was to blame. The issue it caused resulted in a proverbial unwillingness for the engine to start after having run for some time. The Engine did not stall mid-ride, but in certain cases, the engine was unable to initiate the combustion cycle after being turned off.
Royal Enfield has established that it has taken all the necessary steps to rectify the issue to assure the users that the bike would function as necessary. Since the sales were stopped for a while the availability of scram is limited as of yet, it would soon be ramped up in a gradual manner.
