Nissan launches All New Leaf EV With 600 Km Range And Semi-Autonomous Drive Features!

'The New Leaf would be available with two battery options a 52 KWH and a 75 KWH battery pack'- Further Details Below-

Nissan has relaunched its popular EV moniker with a new design change and a slew of new updates. The new Leaf adds to the brand’s aims to move ahead in sustainable mobility and regain the former popularity that the Nissan Leaf moniker was subjected to.  The New Nissan Leaf would be sold globally.

The new design of the Leaf is similar to that of a fastback like silhouette, that has flush door handles, aero tuned wheels and a flat underbody. The New Leaf has been based on the CMF-EV platforms, a few other renditions of the platform are used by a slew of other Nissan vehicles as well. The New Leaf would be available with two battery options a 52 KWH and a 75 KWH battery pack. The official certified range of the battery packs would be around 430 Km to 600 Km.

New Motor and Heat Pump for Battery Conditioning

Nissan’s Insights in to producing and developing full-on EV vehicles early on has helped them develop the vehicle and equip it with accessibility features that make every day functionality easier. The insights have helped Nissan equip the vehicle with a three-in-one electric motor and a heat pump to further optimize the efficiency of the heating system

Beyond that, the car has been equipped with a  completely re-invented dashboard design that now has a pair of 14.3 inch screens running google based infotainment systems. Nissan has left no stones unturned to ensure that the vehicle is well updated for all its users, it has been offered with a range of semi-autonomous features  and driving technologies.

Nissan has revealed that the new Leaf would be manufactured both at the Tochigi plant in Japan and the Nissan UK’s facility in Sunderland. Since Nissan has been planning a comeback in India the Leaf could be launched in India as well.
