KIA India has just revealed the new 2025 Carens Clavis in India, the car would be a new addition to its already popular MPV lineup. And No, It’s not a replacement for the current Carens. The Users would be able to buy both come June 2025. The Carens Clavis is a bit more premium than the normal Carens that is currently available in India. With the new styling changes the Clavis appears much more aggressive and appealing.
Exterior Changes
Some of the changes that would be apparent right from glance would include new headlamps, 17.7 inch alloys, integrated LED tail lamps on the rear and a skid plate that gives the car a more SUV like appearance. The Carens Clavis would be available in Pewter Olive, Imperial Blue, Glacier White Pearl, Clear White, Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, Sparkling Silver and Ivory Silver Gloss.
Interior Changes
Inside the cabin the new Carens Clavis has been equipped with a dual 12.3 Inch screen that continues from the driver side till the middle of the dashboard. Beyond that the center console has a wireless charger, cupholders and a gear selector stalk. Other features that have been added to the vehicle include a Panoramic Sunroof, Front Ventilated Sunroof, A 4 way adjustable driver’s seat and a 8 speaker Bose audio system that was missing on the Carens.
New Safety Features
Beyond all of these features, the car has been further equipped with Level 2 ADAS that would allow the car to have adaptive cruise control, driver attention warning system To further ensure that users face no hassles while getting into the rear seats. KIA has provided a one touch electric double folding system for an easy access into the third row seats. KIA has left no stones unturned to ensure that the car provides the ultimate blend of luxury and opulence with 64 rich Colour palette ambient lighting.
Safety Features
The KIA Clavis has been equipped with six airbags, 360 Degree camera and an electronic parking brake, Child seat ISOFIX and Four Wheel Disc brakes. The car would get front ventilated seats only.
Kia Carens Clavis Powertrain
The engine options for the Clavis would include a 1.5 NA petrol, A 1.5 Turbo Petrol as well as a 1.5 Litre Diesel Engine. The NA 1.5 petrol engine churns out about 115Ps, 144 NM of peak Torque, The Turbo Petrol churns out 160 PS of power along with 253 nm of torque and the diesel churns out 116Ps of power and a peak torque of 250Nm.
