It’s possible that Suzuki might be planning to launch a new compact MPV or SUV at the lower end of the spectrum. The car would probably compete against the likes of Tata Punch. The car could possibly be launched with a Hybrid option since the brand has been planning to launch a slew of vehicles with Hybrid Powertrains.  The brand has repeatedly tried to capture this segment with new entrants such as the Ignis and the Ritz, but over the years Wagon R has been the sole hot seller in the segment.
