MG has given its Roadster a new marketing plinth to showcase its party tricks to the prospective buyers. In a new Video that has been uploaded on Mg Select YouTube channel the Cyberster is showcased accelerating at the Sambhar Salt lake in Rajasthan. The car is driven by Mira Erda who is a F4 racer. The car is driven along the desert to reach its highest acceleration speed . As per the video this is the third land speed record The First one was done in 1957 USA , The Second was done in 1959 USA and the third one was conducted in 2025 India. The Vehicle was being driven in its Super sport mode that probably provides the vehicle with extra torque on demand. Beyond that The Test showcases that the car reaches 0 to a 100 in 3.2 seconds with ease.
MG’s Line Up In India
MG has been planning to expand its line up to include more premium vehicles, the Cyberster would be part of the MG select catalogue. The car has been showcased a few times By MG and was also the showstopper at the recent Bharat Mobility Expo. Such Two door Coupe’s have not been the go to choice for many Indians and hence often manufacturers have not taken a chance with the launch of such vehicles. Its possible that MG might have wanted to use the Cyberster as a Halo model to market their other lineup better.

Specs And Performance
The Cyberster features the slimmest 77 KWh battery pack with only about 110 mm thickness. The car is powered by two dual motors one to over each axle. The max output of the amalgam of two batteries is about 510 Bhp and a peal Torque figure of around 725 NM. Such Specs can easily propel the car from a 00 to a 100 in just 3.2 seconds. The Car would launch in India soon and has been spied being tested in India a few times.
