A recent update, has revealed that Kia’s dealer dispatches have increased in May by 14% year on year. The brand Reported that it delivered close to 22,315 units last month compared to the 19,500 units that were reported in May 2024. Beyond that, the South Korean Auto manufacturer revealed that their recently launched Carens Clavis was met with an exceptional response from customers.
Such results have showcased the brand’s improved understanding of the customers, such critical analysis and addressing evolving consumer expectations and aspirational values has helped them strike a chord with Indian consumers. Officials from the brand revealed that the growth has been a result of Kia’s continuous effort to broaden and enhance its product portfolio in response to shifting customer demands.
TVS Motor Sales
Beyond Kia, TVS motor sales have announced that its total sales for May rose by 17% YOY, reaching a total of 431,275 units. It was in May last year that the company had recorded total sales of 369,914 units. TVS has stated that two wheeler sales grew by 16%, rising from 259,950 units in May 2024 to 416,166 units in May 2025.
The Domestic two wheeler segment has witnessed a 14% increase overall. The sales rose from 271,140 units in May last year all the way till 3,09,287 units in May 2025. Beyond that, Three wheeler sales surged by 46% year on year to 15,109 units in May. Total exports from TVS have showcased an upward rise by 22%. JSW MG Motor India announced that it saw a 40% rise in year on year vehicle shipments to dealerships, reaching 6,304 units. Before this, the company had reported that it witnessed 4,510 units in wholesale sales for May 2024.
