KIA Carens Clavis EV To Be Launched On This Date! New Details Revealed

The Kia Calrens Clavis is expected to offer the same powertrain as that of the Hyundai Creta Electric , that would mean that the car would have a 42 kWh  and a 51.4 kWh battery pack options mated to an electric motor mounted on the front axle- Further Details Below-

KIA has recently revealed that it has been planning to launch the all new Carens Clavis on July 15, 2025. This would be the Kia first mass market EV for India, it would also sit in a unique space as one of the only two electric MPV in the market for now. The Other one would be the BYD E Max 7 which happens to be the Carens Clavis EV’s direct rival and Is currently priced at Rs 26.90-29.90 Lakh.

KIA Carens Clavis EV Battery Range 

The Kia Calrens Clavis is expected to offer the same powertrain as that of the Hyundai Creta Electric , that would mean that the car would have a 42 kWh  and a 51.4 kWh battery pack options mated to an electric motor mounted on the front axle. Output numbers for both  the powertrains would be identical  to those showcased by tat of Hyundai Creta Electric.

Prior spy shots of the Carens Clvais EV also point to a different suspension setup than the ICE version, likely to support the added weight of the battery packs and motors. 

New Features and Safety Suite 

The feature list would be similar to that of the existing Carens Clavis, the feature list would include Ventilated Front Seats, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Beyond that the car would also be equipped with Panoramic Sunroof , premium Bose sound system and 4 way electrically adjustable Driver seat. Beyond that it’s possible that the car would be equipped with a Air purifier, wireless charger and so on.

On the safety front the Carens Clavis would be offering the users with 6 airbags, front and rear disc brakes and traction control, ABS and EBD  with electronic stability control, hill assist control and vehicle stability management and more standard. Its possible that the higher trim levels might be equipped with Level 2 ADAS features.
