CNG seems to be becoming the go to choice for users who seek to opt for a vehicle that is capable of returning extensive range against minimal charges. Witnessing the spurt in demand for CNG vehicles Hyundai has added another new affordable CNG variant of Exter in their lineup. The Exter would have the dual cylinder set up similar to that of the Tata Punch, this arrangement would allow the user to get a spacious boot along with the cost effective CNG.
New CNG Variant From Hyundai
Before the current launch, the CNG version was available from the Mid Spec S trim. But now Hyundai has launched another affordable variant of the CNG spec vehicle that starts from RS 7.51 lakh. The new variant has been based on the entry level Ex variant, which is almost 1 lakh more affordable than the last year’s launch price. The New Ex trim level change would now be targeted at a broader range of buyers.
Before the recent launch in EX the HY CNG variant was only available in S Trim, Sx Trim, and Sx Knight Trim. The car would be rivalling cars such as Tata Motor Punch.
Features
The New Exter HY-CNG Duo brings in a lot of features and creature comforts that are often missing in the entry level models. The features would include 6 airbags, 3 point seatbelts and seat belt reminders. Beyond that the car also has a 4.2 inch TFT MID screen in its instrument cluster. Beyond that the car would also offer the users with features such as Keyless entry and more.
The Hyundai Exter Ex HY-CNG duo would be powered by a 1.2 liter 4 cylinder engine that generates 68 Bhp of peak power and a peak torque of 95.2 Nm when it runs on CNG. The Ex would only get a Manual transmission with a possible 27.1km/kg of mileage.
