New Delhi: Honda 2 Wheelers India is going to bring a new variant of its popular scooter Activa. The company said that this variant will be called Activa Premium. The company has teased the new scooter on its social media page. At present, the price of the new scooter has not been disclosed but it is expected that it will be the top variant.

What will be special in the premium variant

From the pictures, it seems that the new Activa Premium will only come with cosmetic upgrades. It will get a new blue paint scheme with golden accents. The apron, wheels have been given golden treatment to give a new look, as well as the badging of the Activa on the sides is also in gold color. The footboard and seat are now in brown colour. With the changes, it looks more premium than the standard Activa.

Engine and Features

It is expected that its engine and features will remain the same as the regular Activa. That is, it can get a 109.51cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which generates a maximum of 7.68 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 8.84 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm.

Talking about the features, this scooter comes with external fuel filler cap, analog instrument cluster, under-seat storage, LED headlamps and ESP technology. Fuel is injected into the engine and it is cooled by a fan. Tubeless tires have been used in the scooter. The scooter weighs 106 kg and has a fuel tank of 5.3 liters.
