The MPV segment is set to gain a slew of new competitors very soon. The three MPVs that are supposed to be launched in the segment this month will all be launched at different price points. Here are all the launches that are planned for this month.
KIA Carens EV
KIA has recently launched the Carens Clavis in India, and is now all set to introduce its all-new electric version as well. The Clavis will be revealed on July 15, and the prices will be revealed shortly after the launch. With the new launch, the car will get a redesigned front fascia as well as new rims. The top features will include a panoramic sunroof, dual 12.3-inch displays, automatic climate control, and ventilated seats.
Kia has confirmed that Carens Clavis EV will be offered with a 51.4 kWh battery pack, which offers claimed range of 490 km. The car is expected to be launched at around Rs 18 Lakh.
Renault Triber Facelift
Renault will soon be launching a facelifted version of the entry-level MPV, the Triber, on July 23, 2025. The car would be a first major upgrade for the MPV, and the update is bringing in changes inside as well as outside of the vehicle. The vehicle will retain the same silhouette as before, and the new design elements will include a front fascia redesign. The interior will get a new upholstery, automatic climate control, and a slew of new features. Beyond the Triber, Renault has been planning to launch an all-new Duster and probably a 7-seater SUV, BOREAL, as well.
MG M9
The M9 is MG’s electric luxury MPV positioned somewhere between the Toyota Vellfire and the Kia Carnival. The M9 will be longer than the Innova Hycross. The vehicle will be able to easily compete with more expensive MPVs that have been targeted towards users who seek the opulence of captain seats. The car will have the added practicality of third-row seats as well. The car will be priced at around Rs 70 lakh. The M9 will be powered by a front-mounted motor that makes close to 245 PS of power and 350Nm of peak torque, powered by a 90kWh battery pack. The car will be able to offer a WLTP range of 430 Km.
