The fast paced world of electronics and auto manufacturing has coaxed the modern perspective to adopt new products that go with the trend; products that convey the vanity of being one-off, and the idea of being at one with the fast paced world. While the pursuit to adopt new progresses, a few men still understand the importance of the old, the antiques that valiantly showcase the stages of genesis of technological and manufacturing advances, and it would be fair to say that Kanwardeep Jaura is amongst them. While the world has relentlessly succumbed to technological advances and hitched themselves to the bandwagon of getting the latest phone, the latest cars, Mr. Kanwardeep seeks to arrest the beauty of the past, he is on a pursuit to showcase that the days gone by, were of immaculate value.

A restorer by passion Mr. Kanwardeep Jaura says that he always saw beauty in vehicles and as a youngling wanted to buy the flagship motorcars and bikes of the time. Limited by the finances, his wife gave him the brilliant idea – why not buy old and restore. And that initiated a journey that continues till today.

Mr. Kanwardeep Jaura has over the years worked on a slew of antiques that would have rotted to dust had he had not recognized that gold that lay below the grime. Some of the vehicles that he restored to pristine conditions include a 1954 Dodge Convertible, 1932 Plymouth Deluxe Sedan, a 1967 Volkswagen Beetle and most recently he has acquired a 1929 Chevrolet Series Ac international that would witness a similar course of action to get a new appeal.

During Our conversation with Mr. Kanwardeep Jaura, he revealed that he started with the restoration of his own vintage bikes, then he went on to take on bigger restoration projects and such continual acceptance of restoration projects got the ball rolling for AJ Motoarts in Saharanpur. Along the way Mr. Jaura started working on Replicas and has till now manufactured a bunch of classic replicas for cars such as the Ford Model T, Corvettes, Alfa Romeo’s and Shelby Cobra. One of his replicas that really caught our eye was the Mercedes W 125 Silver Arrow.

Built to perfection, Mr. Jaura ardently pointed out that he painstakingly ensures that every panel and every crease of the body work holds true to the original design, he refers to old images and even gets his hands dirty to this day if it’s necessary. Being a true auto enthusiast he points out that getting a chance to witness these antiques is pretty hard let alone driving them, hence these replicas he works on gives the users like us a chance to get behind the wheel of our favorites.

Most of his replicas have an EV powertrain that helps them be sustainable as well. His replicas are meant to be driven along private properties, beaches and hotels, the Ms Sheet Body crafted with true artisanal passion carries every crease and line the same way as the original piece.
