Cars based on similar principles such as the Grand Vitara, have witnessed growing sales and it was about time that Tata announced its grand entry into the segment. A recent sighting has revealed that Tata has been developing a new CNG powered variant of the Tata Curvv. As per the recent sighting it’s possible that the car might be launched soon with a full fledged CNG powertrain that could be an extension of the existing Tata Nexon CNG as well as the Tata Punch Powertrain.

Beyond the Curvv CNG, the other prospective vehicles that are to be launched soon includes a Harrier EV , Sierra SUV as well as a CNG Curvv SUV. In a similar pursuit a CNG version of the Curvv was spotted testing as reported by Rushlane. The car would compete with Suzuki Grand Vitara.
