New Delhi: Ather Energy added a new base variant expanding its portfolio in the Indian e- scooter market. The Bengaluru-based electric scooter manufacturing company has launched the 450S.

It will be sold as the entry-level variant of the 450 range. This new variant of the electric scooter will be equipped with a 3kWh battery pack. According to the Company, it comes with IDC (Indian Driving Conditions) which gives a range of 115 km on a single charge. The bike would go up to 90 kmph.  It will have fewer features than the 450X range.

Company has revised the price

This new variant of the Ather 450 will be sold in India with the 450X and 450X Pro packs. The company has revised the prices of these variants post the FAME-II subsidy revision. The Ather 450X and 450X Pro packs will now be available for Rs 1,45,000 and Rs 1,65,000, ex-showroom.

Ather Energy revealed that bookings for the V8 450S will begin in July. Customers buying it can register by visiting the official website of the company. The company has not given any information regarding its delivery.
